Bob Flanagan was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1986 where he served for 16
years, holding the position of Republican Whip for 5 years and Chair of the Howard County Delegation for 6 years. Flanagan is a recognized budget expert and fiscal conservative who tirelessly fought for lower taxes, less regulation and against unfunded mandates. In 2003 he was nominated by Bob Ehrlich to serve as his Secretary of Transportation, a position he held until the Governor left office in 2007. Bob Flanagan is a 1967 graduate from Harvard with a degree in Economics. One of the last classes to go through the Naval Reserve Officer Training program at Harvard, Flanagan served more than 4 years in the US Navy becoming a Nuclear Submarine Officer. In 1974 Flanagan graduated from Cornell Law School with honors. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 25 years and since 1987 his practice has focused on representing Howard County businesses and families. As a private attorney, he successfully fought Howard County’s decision to allow a waste transfer facility to be built on Route 1 in Elkridge. This victory paved the way for future upgrading of the Route 1 Corridor Flanagan launched as Secretary of Transportation.

Dennis R. Schrader, is currently President of DRS International, LLC. In 1994, he was elected to the Howard County Council and served one term. He has served as Deputy Administrator of the National Preparedness Directorate of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) after being confirmed by the United States Senate on August 17, 2007 and as Maryland's first Director of Homeland Security under Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. Previously, Schrader spent 16 years at the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS). Dennis retired from the Navy as a Captain in 2007.

Tom D'Asto is a Program Manger in the Integrated Thermal Systems group of ATK, a premier aerospace defense company and global leader in spaceflight applications and small satellite mission provider located in Beltsville, Maryland. He serves as an instructor in Howard County's 2nd largest 4-H club - the Bullseyes. He has served as Cub Master of his son's Cub Scout Pack and is currently a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop 737. He has volunteered as head coach on the various sporting teams of his three children. Tom resides in Clarksville, Maryland, with his wife, Jennifer, of 20 years and their three children, Tony, Nick, and Gina, ages 16, 14, and 12. All 3 children are in our county public schools. Jennifer is a public school teacher & life long resident of Howard County.

Kay Hartleb
Register of Wills
Kay Hartleb currently serves as the register of wills for Howard County. She has been a resident of Howard County for 49 years . She was married to the late "Bill" Hartleb and has three children and seven grandchildren . She is a graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland and Villa Julie College and has numerous post grad courses in advanced estate administration . She is an active volunteer for United Cerebral Palsy and a member Resurrection Church.

Joyce Pope
Judge of the Orphans' Court
Joyce Pope has served for 16 years as Judge of the Orphans' Court. She is a Member, past officer and past Executive Board member of the Maryland Association of the Judges of the Orphans' Court (MAJOC) and a past member of the Legislative Subcommittee. She has twice been appointed to the special Conference of Orphans' Court Judges. She is also a Member, National College of Probate Judges and the Maryland Trial Judges Association.

Mike Frampton is currently a healthcare consultant and recently retired as Senior Vice President at Consortium Health Plans (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) in Columbia. Together with his wife, Kathleen, he has lived in Howard County since 1998. He has 30 years of private and government sector experience in healthcare administration and holds both a B.A. and a M.A. degree from the University of Chicago. Mike and Kathleen are members of St. Louis Parish in Clarksville; Mike is a member of ACTS (Adoration, Community, Theology, Service) and a volunteer at The Arc of Howard County.

Charles Moore Candidate for Howard County Sheriff
Charlie is a graduate of the George Washington University and retired from the Metropolitan Police Department as a captain. He served more than 30 years and worked with the FBI, US Marshals and other agencies serving arrest warrants on the most dangerous fugitives and later worked with the US Secret Service on protection of the President. He currently resides in the Sykesville area of Howard County.
